About Jib Crane
A jib crane is a machine designed to move loads and other heavy equipment pieces. A horizontal member supporting an adjustable hoist is fixed to a wall or other floor-mounted structure during application. Jib systems are affordable, valuable, and straightforward and can aid a human operator in repetitive lifting tasks. Some operators choose to pair cranes with a bridge crane to unite workspaces. By using a crane and bridge crane in tandem, hauling tasks can be completed much more easily.
These machines are beneficial because they can be adapted to operate in a small work area with limited space. Jib cranes are most commonly used in indoor applications because of their adaptability. Further, these cranes can be adapted to fit in buildings with low ceilings or many internal structures.
Dongqi 1 Ton Jib Crane
Dongqi traditional jib crane can handle loads weighing up to 2,000 pounds. The crane is outfitted with 15 inches of height under the beam and a 20-inch hoist span. The flange beam measures 16 inches with a flange width of 7 inches. Most contractors recommend having a minimum concrete footing for the machine that is 4 feet deep by 7 square feet. Jib cranes offer 360 degrees of manual rotation, and the unit is constructed in steel.
A jib crane comes equipped with an electric chain hoist with an included chain container and pull-type trolley. The hoist can move at a rate of 8 feet per minute single speed, with 460 volts and 3 phase power.
Freestanding Jib Cranes
The popularity of the freestanding jib crane can be attributed to its adaptability and the fact that it can be installed in small spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Many contractors choose to use these cranes under large bridge crane structures to support large-scale projects, while others use them to help individual workers. Jib cranes can be used in outdoor applications at boat docks and marinas and indoors to assist assembly operations. Generally, freestanding job cranes and jib crane hoists can accommodate spans up to 50inches and load capacities up to 15 tons. The machine is equipped with 360 degrees of rotation and a boom height of 40inches.
While freestanding crane systems offer long spans, high load capacities and excellent rotation, they are more expensive than more simplistic cranes. Some of this cost can be attributed to the foundation needed to secure the crane and support the machine during a lifting task.
Features and Benefits of Dongqi Jib Crane
Features and Benefits of Jib Cranes Jib crane systems come with many benefits. Whether you have an expansive outdoor project or a small indoor process, a jib crane can help you streamline the process.
Applications: Jib cranes can be used in various applications, including manufacturing, construction and automotive. Many stone fabrication businesses use jib cranes to move stone slabs for cutting quickly.
Safety: Jib cranes are among the safest machines on the market due to their internal control mechanisms. Most cranes employ a self-aligning radial bushing that cannot be displaced and a radial bushing at the bottom that provides exceptional ease of movement.
