Precautions for operation of jib crane:
1. Before use, check whether the work site is flat and solid. If the bottom of the outrigger is uneven, use wooden blocks to level the crane. Do not work on inclined ground, nor work on muddy and uneven ground. Wells should pay attention to whether there are wires and other obstacles affecting the operation within the working range.
2. Before each operation, a test hoist must be carried out, and the weight should be hoisted about 200 mm above the ground to test whether the brake is reliable and whether the straight legs are firm, and the hoisting can only be performed after confirming safety.
3. During operation, the wire rope should be lifted vertically. It is not allowed to hang obliquely or horizontally, otherwise it will not only cause heavy objects to swing or collide with other objects, but may even cause a crane overturn accident.
4. When the crane is working under heavy load, the left rotation angle of the boom cannot exceed 45°. . Turn slowly, and at the same time avoid boom swinging, otherwise it is easy to cause major accidents such as falling arms, folding arms, and overturning.
5. When hoisting heavy objects at high places, a certain distance should be kept between the hook and the pulley to prevent the hoist from being over-headed and the steel wire buried and broken, causing the boom to turn backward.
6. In the process of lifting heavy objects, it is not allowed to move the handle of the outrigger of the crane. If the outrigger must be adjusted, the heavy object should be dropped first before adjustment.
7. It is not allowed to use cranes to lift unidentified objects buried in the ground and objects condensed (frozen) on the ground and equipment, so as to avoid overloading and cause accidents.
8. The brake of the overweight machine is easy to fail in rainy and snowy days, so the lifting hook should be slow. In case of strong wind above six degrees, the hoisting should be stopped.
