The following points should be paid attention to when using the jib crane:
- The jib crane operator should carefully hand over the shift, carefully check the reliability of the hooks, wire ropes, brakes, and safety protection devices, and report any abnormal situations in time.
- Before starting the jib crane operation, it should be confirmed that the following conditions are in a safe state before starting the crane:
- Whether all controllers are set to zero;
- Whether there are irrelevant personnel on the jib crane and in the working area, and whether the operators are evacuated to the safe area;
- Whether there are any unremoved obstacles within the operating range of the crane;
- Whether the minimum distance between the crane and other equipment or fixed buildings is more than 0.5m;
- Whether the power circuit breaker is locked or has a warning sign;
- Whether the mobile cantilever crane has leveled the site as required, and laid the outriggers firmly and reliably.
- The crane driver shall not conduct the following behaviors during normal operation:
- Use the permission position limiter to park.
- Use the reverse vehicle to brake.
- Inspection and maintenance during the lifting operation of the cantilever crane.
- Adjust the brakes of the hoisting and luffing mechanisms with load or increase the operating range with load.
- The hanging object shall not pass over the head of the person, and no person shall stand under the hanging object and the boom.
